Casey Christensen

Casey Christensen jumped into real estate in 2014 when he rented out his town home and house hacked a single-family home. His real estate journey evolved from there and in 2020 he completed his first out-of-state BRRRR project on a duplex. Quickly after, he built up a portfolio of 8 units, all out of state. In 2022, Casey and two partners founded Fortified Equity, a private equity real estate investing firm. Fortified Equity’s purpose is to help busy professionals and investors maximize their return by investing in value-add apartment communities. In August of 2022, they closed on a 15-unit property where they will maximize profitability by renting to both long-term and short-term tenants. In Casey’s professional career, he has worked for the last 10 years as an FX dealer and derivatives trader for the Foreign Exchange brokerage, GPS Capital Markets LLC. As a consulting firm, GPS works with corporate clients of all sizes to provide them with tailored solutions to assist in all their FX needs. While Casey thoroughly enjoys investing in real estate, the most important thing to him is being a husband and a father of 4 amazing kids.
